Mountains above Calenzana
Calenzana is the starting point of three long-distance mountain trails, the famous GR 20, Tra Mare e Monti and the Sentier de la Transhumance. The photo taken in January 2006 from the road between Calenzana and Calvi shows the town almost hidden in Olive trees with magnificent Monte Grosso massif (1937 m) in background. The bell tower and the roof belong to the church Sainte-Blaise.
